I drove for an hour and a half in crappy weather and a lot of traffic. I got there at 9, finished my matters by 9:15, and then drove back. Didn’t even make it back to the office until 11:30. The whole thing left me grumpy...

Well, that made my morning better.
Taking a sick day today.
Which just means that I’ll be prepping for tomorrow’s trials from home. But will be in bed and on tumblr while doing so.
Fairly successful day (by the numbers)
7 trials scheduled:
1 adjournment (requested by the defence).
3 guilty pleas.
2 defendants didn’t show up (and thus were deemed not to dispute the charges = guilty plea).
1 finding of guilt after a trial.
Not too shabby.
